Launch of HELIAD II

May 28th 2013 will remain a date of particular importance for the Netherlands-based yacht builder LYNX Yachts. Today saw the launch of the first yacht by LYNX Yachts, the 33.4m motor yacht designed by the renowned yacht designers Diana Yacht Design.

HELIAD II’s classic lines and canoe stern pay tribute to Diana’s heritage and DNA. Built under the supervision of project manager Arjan Zutphen of AZ Scheepstechniek, HELIAD II is a classic full displacement twin screw motor yacht but with a modern twist. Her interior styling is minimalist and contemporary, while her interior volume equals that of a far larger yacht due to her 8m beam.

LYNX Yachts already has plans for a second yacht on the drawing board. This will see their second collaboration with Diana Yacht Design, but for a very different type of yacht.
