ABOUT
General Description
Akuna is a twin engine, flush deck, pilothouse trawler with flybridge built by C&L Marine in Taiwan in 1979. The hull is semi displacement with fine entry, full length keel and hard chines. Oversized hyrdraulic stabilisers ensure comfort at sea and powerful hydraulic bow and stern thrusters simplify manoeuvring in marinas. She has very large living and entertaining spaces, sleeps 8 in 4 cabins, each with their own bathroom and ample storage.

Construction
- Solid fibreglass hull with 4 full length stringers

The V71 series of engines are regarded as very reliable and have seen use in many industries all over the world. Millions were made by General Motors and, although they are no longer manufactured, spare parts are readily available. In 28 years of ownership we have had zero mechanical problems with these engines and have only done routine maintenance.
