George Lawley & Son era un cantiere navale operante nel Massachusetts, dal 1866 al 1945. Ha iniziato l'attività a Scituate, poi si è trasferita a Boston . Il fondatore George Lawley (1823-1915) si ritirò nel 1890 e suo figlio, nipote e pronipote, rilevato il cantiere, hanno continuato l'attività fino al 1945. Tra le centinaia di navi e imbarcazioni costruite dai Lawleys sono da segnalare due importanti yacht PURITAN e MAYFLOWER, rispettivamente vincitori della Coppa America del 1885 e del 1886.
