MOONYEEN is a motor cruiser of timber carvel construction with a DAF diesel engine. She was built by Thornycrofts at Hampton on Thames in 1937. She was commissioned by J Homer to be his luxury motor yacht only to be requisitioned by the Royal Navy in 1939. She made her way after the war to the Mediterranean, South of France, with the Laderman family. She was refitted in 1990 by Uve Hucke and in 2011 was based at St Jean Cap Ferrat, France.
