Gielissen on the water

A new member joined the Gielissen family in 2010: Gielissen Linskens Shipyard in Wanssum. This yacht-building company has been building the most exclusive motor yachts for around 10 years now and was acquired because we wanted to launch a new business segment: the boats market.

Interiors for luxury boats
So Gielissen Interiors & Exhibitions is now also focusing on building interiors for luxury boats. It's something we've been interested in for a long time, because we see opportunities in this new market. Gielissen Linskens Shipyard builds holiday homes on the water. These luxury vacation homes - Comfortships – lie in a floating maritime vacation park in Wessem in Limburg. The luxury yachts with all the creature comforts of a house are sold to private individuals and companies, which can then rent these motorized leisure homes out. The owner of the maritime vacation park takes care of managing the floating homes, which lie in the park but can also move under their own steam.

Innovations
Given that we're close on the heels of every development, you'll always come across the latest innovations in our yachts. That together with a personal touch also means that no single Gielissen-Linskens yacht, despite being built in series, will ever be the same.
